INTRO!!!

Hey guys, this is my first ever post here, I'm still working out how to navigate this space. I just wanted to post this to let you know what my usual content will consist of which will be just stories about my daily life in the IBDP and just tips, study methods and ways to balance everything in the IBDP (which again I am still figuring out myself😭).

I'll also post a lot about Neuroscience, specifically Neuropharmacology because as you can see from my username, I am a NeuroNerd!

I really hope to use this space to help a lot of people and also to connect with people who are in the same space as me and have similar interests as me.

I will probably post starting next week hopefully cause since winter break started; I've been slacking which sucks because I have so much to do. I really hope I'll be consistent on here and also that it will help me lock in everyday with studying and everything.

Helloo people, I'm backk. Today's topic of discussion is Neurogenesis. Neurogenesis is the process by which nervous system cells, which are neurons, are produced by neural stem cells. From the name, we can dissect that this is the case as - Neuro refers to anything about the nervous system, and - genesis is the origin or mode of formation of something.   Hello guys, it has been a while.... I know I said I’d post about the last week of December, and it’s been almost a month now, but I’m back, yay! Today I just came to share something with you guys that you may have known but if you didn’t and are learning about it today like I did, here it is. It is something called neuroplasticity , it is the brain’s capacity to change and adapt in response to new things like learning skills or injury mainly being active during the years of 5-21 years old as those are the years where activities such as those stated happen more frequently.
